July 11th, 1990: In Oka, Quebec, a Mohawk community fought to protect a sacred burial ground against what would be turned into a municipal 18-hole golf course. One of the many smears on our nation in its suppression of Native American rights.
Highway blockades are obviously no thing of the past, either.

I’ve been out a lot lately enjoying everything and not looking at the internet much. If you know anything worth looking at, you should maybe leave it in the comment section for me, I’d appreciate it. I guess that’s the reverse of what this medium is for, as it’s you telling me what’s up… But whatever, summer is what’s up on my end.

The crochet costumes for Bjork’s Volta album were done by the Islandic Love Corporation. Here are some things I like from an installation they did in 2001, entitled “Worship”.
