Playlists: Interview Magazine
In the March issue of Interview, art star Damien Hirst interviews Lily Allen, whose feature is sophisticatedly photographed in retro black and white. While checking it out, I came across this little goldmine of great playlists from some noteworthy people: the likes of Q-Tip, Sebastien Tellier and Sinead O’Connor.
At the moment, I’ve been enjoying Santogold’s playlist — reggae, dirty south, B-52s — and I’m moving on to Tip’s in a minute.
And if you’re inclined to pay attention to what really pretty girls are listening to, Daisy Lowe and Aggy Degn have also provided their own playlists. Afterall, as Interview is quick to point out in capitals letters, EVERYONE is a DJ.

Kinda creepy considering Mr. Hirst is famously drinking buddies with Ms. Allen’s dad, Keith (along with Alex James from Blur).
Also, Gaubert’s list reads like a “what’s hot in 2009? Deesco!!!!”, which is cool and all. I give props to Sinead for coming up with the best one though.
