Laberge: Neon Disco
Laberge just sent me this new track he’s been working on. His production’s really come a long way since I first started talking to him and I’m constantly being impressed. Buy his recently released Pleasure and Pressure Vol 1 off Beatport/iTunes and then hit him up on Myspace and blast this tune on repeat.

Depeche Mode: Enjoy the Silence (Ewan Pearson Remix)
Andre’s Mare post made me think of how the Deftones used to cover of Depeche Mode a lot. I love both bands, but the Deftones covers, like all cover versions that I’ve heard of Depeche Mode, never quite stand up to the original. I spent a few hours listening through the DM discography again last night. I checked for tickets to their July Toronto show… totally sold out and craigslist tickets are ridiculously expensive… :(

Lykke Li AutoErotique Remix
I just woke up to find a new remix from the AutoBros in my mailbox, and it’s their heartfelt rendition of Lykke Li’s Little Bit. Lykke Li’s sultry ‘ooo-ooo’s, combined with crisp drums and a rolling bassline makes for a surefire dancefloor hit. Third time listening through and now I feel all “erotique” (ha).
